At South Georgia State College, we want your enrollment to be painless and practically effortless. Here are six simple steps to get started!

  1. Submit your application for enrollment and the $20 fee.
  2. Submit official copies of high school transcripts and/or GED scores.
  3. Submit your immunization form completed by a healthcare professional.
  4. COMPASS placement tests may be required.
  5. Submit official transcripts from all colleges or technical schools you have attended.
  6. Complete a FAFSA application to determine if you’re eligible for financial aid or scholarships. The FAFSA code for South Georgia State College is 001592.

Upon receipt of all required documents, students are most often notified of an admissions decision within 10-15 business days. The criminal history background check may affect your admissions decision. A final admission decision is made after all requested documents have been received.
