Welcome and thank you for visiting South Georgia College online! Education is the key to achieving personal and professional goals, and we hope that South Georgia College will be an important part of your life-long learning process. South Georgia College is a thriving and progressive institution that continues to evolve to meet the growing educational needs of Georgia's students. In June 2011, the University System Board of Regents approved a mission and sector change for the College, resulting in SGC becoming a state college and offering a limited number of baccalaureate degrees. Furthermore, our campus landscape has been enhanced significantly in the past two years with the opening of a renovated and expanded dining hall, a 292-bed residence hall and current construction to create an efficient and improved student services building for enrollment services.

South Georgia College is conveniently located between Macon, Savannah and Jacksonville, Florida. Our institution offers a complete college experience in a caring atmosphere. From quality instruction to affordable tuition to a wide array of social, athletic, recreational, and cultural activities, SGC offers something for everyone.
