| The Office of Disability Services (ODS) at South Georgia College is administered through: | |
| Douglas Campus | Room 118 Powell Hall, 912.260.4435 |
| Valdosta Campus |
SGC Entry Program, Entrance #9 (on Ann Street) of the University Center, 229.293.6135 |
| Americus Campus | SGC Entry Program, English Building, Room 241, 229.931.5141 |
The ODS seeks to assist disabled students in gaining equal access to all College
programs. Students with disabilities, academic and/or physical, should report
any accessibility problems to the ODS.
New students with disabilities entering South Georgia College can access ODS by notifying the admissions office in writing of their needs for accommodations upon acceptance to the College. The student will be provided an ODS Manual that includes an Application for Accommodations for Disabilities. When the student submits this application to the ODS, the student will be contacted and eligibility for services investigated.
Students who are currently enrolled at SGC and have academic problems may also seek services by contacting the ODS and arranging an appointment. An interview will be scheduled and eligibility for services explored.
