Policy for Reviewing Recruitment Materials and Presentations

External Affairs coordinates all printed communications, graphics and presentation materials to ensure a consistent image for South Georgia College. Please notify our Advancement team if you need to make changes on current items, order reprints, or enlist media services.

NAME TAGS, BUSINESS CARDS & STATIONERY

SGC name tags, business cards, and departmental stationery and envelopes may be ordered by completing the supplies request form.

CUSTOM OFFICE MATERIALS

BROCHURES, FLYERS, PROGRAMS, POSTERS, SIGNS, INVITATIONS, CARDS, POSTCARDS, BOOKLETS, CERTIFICATES, AD DESIGN OR MARKETING/PRESENTATION HANDOUTS
Please complete this design request form to order. For the most economic and creative effort, please notify us as soon as you are aware of your needs, preferably a month in advance for projects that require an outside vendor. This will allow us to assist you with editing and design, obtain quotes for the best pricing on printing, and proof the final piece with you. Please note that the actual printing process may take up to two weeks.

TYPOGRAPHY

The standard typeface used for South Georgia College is Verdana (bold).
The typeface for "A Degree of Difference" is Bookman Antiqua (italic).

SLOGAN

The phrase "A Degree of Difference" has been adopted as the college's slogan, to be used as a graphic design element and to portray the essence of South Georgia College’s mission.

IDENTITY AND TRADITIONAL COLORS

South Georgia College has two sets of official colors:
• Pantone colors-PMS 289 Navy and PMS 871 Gold-for the logo and more formal uses
• Pantone colors-PMS 289 Navy and PMS 113 Gold-for promotional and athletic items


GRAPHIC IDENTITY

The common and consistent use of the South Georgia College cupola, the clock tower located atop Thrash Hall, and other design elements communicate a strong, unified identity for South Georgia College. The South Georgia College cupola depicts a highly recognized symbol among the majority of those who have attended South Georgia College.


LOGO

The SGC cupola, a well-known symbol of the campus, is placed next to the name of the college to create the institution’s logo. The logo is a public identifier used on stationery, publications, web pages and other items representing South Georgia College. It provides a clear and unified look to the public. PROMOTIONAL LOGO

For athletic and promotional products, SGC utilizes a tiger-themed logo to highlight the college’s mascot. (Download link below)
