External Affairs strives to promote South Georgia College, its faculty, and its student body through collaboration with regional media. Our goal is to increase the flow of information to the media and enhance media relationships; to increase public awareness and perception of the College; and to assist divisions and departments in marketing programs and events. We are the contact point for upcoming events and other newsworthy items occurring at South Georgia College.

External Affairs is responsible for SGC's website design and content, and publishes the annual student catalog, college schedules, newsletters, and promotional and recruitment brochures. In addition, External Affairs prepares all advertising for South Georgia College, disburses press releases and public service announcements, and is responsible for coordinating media relations.
