SGC to Host Statewide Resident Assistant Seminar

On Saturday, Jan. 21, over 750 individuals from colleges throughout Georgia will descend upon South Georgia College for the Georgia Resident Assistant Saturday Seminar (GRASS) event.

The theme for the 2012 edition of GRASS is Listen, Engage, Adapt and Perform (LEAP) – Exceeding the needs of our students. At GRASS, attendees will participate in a variety of workshops, all of which will touch on one or more of these areas. The overriding goal of GRASS is the professional development of resident assistants on college campuses and their professional staff. During the seminar, RAs and staff from institutions throughout the state will share successful business practices and programs that can be applied or used at any college or university.
