SGC to Host PROBE Fair for High School Students on November 4th
Approximately 45,000 Georgia high school students and their parents will
explore the options of post-secondary education this fall at one of the many
PROBE College Fairs, including a fair at South Georgia College on Friday,
Nov. 4, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The fair will be held on the SGC campus in
the gym.
PROBE is the organized college fair tour that attracts representatives from
non-profit educational institutions to different facilities throughout
Georgia. The typical PROBE Fair consists of two to three hours of browse
time for students and parents. Topics such as financial aid, housing,
admissions requirements, programs of study, campus life and scholarships are
discussed with representatives.
This year, over 40 institutions will be at the SGC fair, including Valdosta
State University, the University of Georgia, Point University, Reinhardt
University, South Georgia College, Kennesaw State University and dozens of
others.
For more information, contact your local high school counselor or Bill
Smith, Executive Director, at (404) 355-8586.
