Lady Tigers Defeat ABAC 3-1

The SGC women’s soccer team is now 2-2 on the season after defeating ABAC 3-1 on Tuesday afternoon.

Tiffany Morris, Kadie Naumann and Peyton Leffew scored goals for the Lady Tigers. “I thought we dominated the other team, especially when we stayed with a simple pass and move tactic,” said head coach Ken Kirsch. “When we play a possession game we can play with most any team.”

The team chose Kenisha Giddens and Francis Martin as players of the match. The women play away at Middle Georgia College at 5 p.m. on Thursday. Results were unavailable at press time.
