SGC Foundation Scholarship Deadline Is Fast Approaching

Through the generosity of area citizens, businesses and industries, the South Georgia College Foundation has a number of scholarships that are available to provide financial assistance to the region’s high school seniors as well as non-traditional students. The 2011 priority deadline for scholarship applications is set for Thursday, March 31.

Scholarship criteria vary; however, one application will allow a student to be eligible for all scholarships. Applications are available on the college website or in person through the SGC Office of Advancement.

Awards are given on a rotating basis, so all are not given each year. SGC will begin awarding the scholarships at the various honors nights hosted by area high schools this spring. If you are interested in applying or would like more information, please contact the Office of Advancement at (912) 260-4273 or visit http://www.sgc.edu/prospective/scholarships.html.
