SGC SWIM TIGERS DO WELL AT INAUGURAL MEET
The first ever swim team of South Georgia College travelled seven hours
north to Sewanee Tennessee last weekend to compete in the University of the
South Invitational meet. The swimming Tigers faired very well at the two day
meet with the Men’s team finishing in 4th place and the Women finishing 6th.
There were 10 four year schools there from the states of Georgia, Tennessee
and Kentucky and SGC was the only Junior College team attending. Sewanee won
the female side of the meet while the University of the Cumberlands won the
