SGC Cross Country to Host Come Smell the Coffee Tiger Trot 5K

The SGC cross country team is hosting the Come Smell the Coffee Tiger Trot 5K on Saturday, Oct. 9 at 8 a.m. at General Coffee State Park, located six miles east of Douglas on Highway 32.

The race is a favorite of area running enthusiasts and features one of the most scenic courses of any race in the region. The out-and-back route is both beautiful and challenging, and in the process participants get to see up close the grounds of historic General Coffee State Park. To register, go to http://www.sgc.edu/athletics/crosscountry/TigerTrot.html and print a registration form. Fill it out and mail it to the following address:
