SGC offers "Introduction to Photoshop CS4" course online

Need to learn how to better edit photos and graphics? If so, the South Georgia College Department of Continuing Education has an online program for you.

Continuing Education has partnered with ed2go to offer a course titled “Introduction to Photoshop CS4." Adobe Photoshop CS4 is the world's most popular graphics-editing software, and in this hands-on, project-oriented course, students will master editing photos, creating basic paintings, and preparing images for printing. Students need no artistic ability or prior Photoshop experience to succeed in -- and enjoy -- this course.

This class is one of over 300 online, instructor-facilitated courses that the Continuing Education Department offers through ed2go. Through well-crafted lessons, expert online instruction, and interaction with fellow students, participants in these courses gain valuable knowledge at their convenience. They have the flexibility to study at their own pace combined with enough structure and support to complete the course. And they can access the classroom 24/7 from anywhere with an Internet connection.

New sessions of each course run every month. They last six weeks, with two new lessons being released weekly (for a total of 12). The courses are entirely Web-based with comprehensive lessons, quizzes, and assignments. A dedicated professional instructor facilitates every course; pacing learners, answering questions, giving feedback, and facilitating discussions.
