SGC to offer summer programs for adults, youth
Looking for something to do this summer? South Georgia
College has an exciting series of programs scheduled for the next 10 weeks
designed to entertain young and old alike.
Classes include everything from learning to play the piano in just a couple
of hours to figuring out how to navigate social media/networking sites such
as Twitter and Facebook to learning how to speak Spanish.
Adults and teens can enroll in David Haynes’ “Instant Piano for Hopelessly
Busy People” (June 18, 6-9:30 p.m., $55), “Tweet Me: Social Media Marketing”
(Friday, June 26 and Friday, July 10 from 1-3 p.m.. $39), and “Web Site on
Shoestring” (Friday, June 28 from 9 a.m. to noon, $29).
For children up to 16 years of age, SGC has a variety of programs that
explore a wide range of topics. Classes include dance, drawing, science,
canoeing, golf, swimming, art, drawing and sculpture. Youth classes are $59
each and are held weekly throughout the summer. For more information on the
