SGC baseball to host Recreation Day on April 11

The SGC Tigers play their last home game of the season on Saturday, April11, and will host several special events as a part of the day’s activities. Before the Tigers and the Stallions of ABAC take the field, the Tigers will hold Recreation Day at 12:30 p.m. The youth baseball teams with Douglas-Coffee County Parks and Recreation Department will be recognized by team. They will also be on the field with the Tigers during the National Anthem. Youth players and their parents get in free.

Between games of the double-header, sophomores will also be recognized. In addition, several free oil changes courtesy of Clifton Matthews at Shell Rapid Lube will be given away, as well as SGC hats and t-shirts.

Activities begin at 12:30 p.m. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
