Learn American Sign Language at SGC

Learn to talk with your hands and communicate with the hearing impaired by enrolling in SGC’s sign language class.

Offered by the Department of Continuing Education, the course is one from which everyone can benefit, including law enforcement officers, teachers, community leaders, family members and interested citizens. The course has been approved for one PLU for educators.

The six-session class is offered each Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. beginning Oct. 7 and ending on Nov. 11. Kay Hancock is the instructor, and she will hold the course at Peterson Hall. Class fee is $75, book included.
