Attend Elusion University featuring the SGC Dance and Step teams

The South Georgia College Dance Club and Step Team would like to invite the community to its latest show, Elusion University. The free show will be Thursday, November 29, at 7pm in Peterson Hall’s McGouirk Auditorium on the SGC campus in Douglas.

Elusion University follows a long tradition of lively performances and dazzling visuals by the two teams. This year’s show will be no different as the teams take the audience to school with special guests Behind The Scenes and P.L.P. Atlanta’s own DJ Rocky will also be on the mix table, his own unique Wheels of Steel, playing funk, jazz, modern, reggae, and even ballet.

“This year’s show is going to be a blast,” says Dance Club captain Genai “Q” Reeves, a sophomore from the Bronx. “Whether you love special effects, smooth dance moves, or great music, this show will keep you on the edge of your seat. It’s going to entertain the ears as well as the eyes.”

Qui Green, co-captain of the Dance Club, says that all members of the team have worked hard this year to put together a fun show. “We’re very anxious to show the community what SGC can do. Everyone on the team can’t wait to perform.”

Admission is free, but the teams encourage viewers to arrive early. For more information about the event, contact College Relations at 912.389.4338.
