South Georgia College Goals: 2011 – 2016


Goal 1: SGC will provide programs that lead to associate and a limited number of baccalaureate degrees.

Goal 2: SGC will promote a nurturing environment that supports diversity, civility and respect for all.

Goal 3: SGC will strengthen teaching, learning and scholarship at the institution.

Goal 4: SGC will provide opportunities for students to become global citizens.

Goal 5: SGC will optimize enrollment through intentional and strategic enrollment management.

Goal 6: SGC will increase persistence, retention and graduation.

Goal 7: SGC will improve customer service.

Goal 8: SGC will promote a work environment that develops the potential of its employees.

Goal 9: SGC will increase efficiency and effectiveness through judicious use of resources to maintain
           a stable fiscal environment.

Goal 10: SGC will strengthen programs and services that improve student satisfaction and co-curricular learning.

Goal 11: SGC will strive to provide appropriate facilities.

Goal 12: SGC will engage in educational, community, political and business partnerships.

Goal 13: SGC will increase the level of philanthropy to the College.
