The College developed a system of performance evaluation for all classified employees that will comply with the Board of Regents Classified Personnel Policies.
The following elements are among those used in the evaluation procedure:
* capability
* productivity
* efficiency
* punctuality and attendance
* potential for future development
2. Frequency of Performance Evaluations
* Other issues as addressed by the Supervisor
a. Provisional Status Evaluations
Provisional employees must be evaluated at least ten days prior to the completion of their provisional period of employment (six months of employment), or prior to date of termination.
b. Annual Evaluations
An annual evaluation is required on every regular employee of South Georgia College. The annual performance evaluation should be completed by the end of the first quarter of each year, March 31, unless otherwise specified.
