E. Building Security
Public Safety Officers are on duty 24 hours and make inspections of buildings during their tour of duty. Public Safety officers ascertain that doors and windows are secure, security lights are operative, and no unauthorized personnel are in the area. Coordination of after-hour access to classrooms and facilities is done through the Public Safety Office. Breaches of security are thoroughly investigated by the Public Safety Department and a written report of the incident and action taken is filed with the Director of Public Safety.
