Working Title: Transfer Coordinator

Department: Student Support Services
This is professional work involving the advisement of students in regards to transfer programs through the Student Support Services Office.
· Identifies participants on an on-going basis who have indicated plans to transfer.
· Obtains information on participants in regard to transfer requirements.
· Provides intensive orientation and materials on transfer procedures.
· Provides individual assistance to participants in completing admissions materials.
· Schedules and coordinates activities for Transfer/Career Day.
· Schedules and coordinates visits from senior colleges and universities throughout the year.
· Attends conferences and workshops to learn procedures regarding program concerns and for professional growth and development.
· Reports to work as scheduled by immediate supervisor.
Marginal Duties
· Acquires updated application packets and catalogs from senior colleges and universities.
· Develops form/databases to be used for students planning to transfer.
Considerable knowledge of transfer process and transferability of credits to senior and university institutions.
Supervision:
The Transfer Coordinator reports to the Director of Student Support Services.
