Working Title: Director of Admissions, Records, and Research

Department: Enrollment Services
Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Services, the Director is responsible for the administration of recruitment, admissions, student records, and institutional research within a context of overall enrollment management. The Director is responsible for the creation and implementation of a dynamic recruitment program to attract a qualified and diverse student body.
Provide overall management, supervision and professional direction to the enrollment services division.
Create and implement an effective recruitment program.
Supervise the Assistant Registrar, Recruiter, and the Admissions Coordinator.
Provide vision and strategic direction for all Enrollment Services functions.
Manage and effectively utilize the recruitment and admission budget and oversee the budgets of the Registrar's Office and the Admission Office.
Cooperate with other College staff in the implementation of a College-wide focus on customer service and satisfaction.
Provide leadership for the Tiger Senators, the official student ambassadors of the College.

Provide statistical information to key personnel based on institutional data as it relates to strategic planning and other reporting venues.
Serve as the official College representative in related University System of Georgia activities and other professional matters as appropriate.
The Director must have strong human relations abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills, an understanding of an academic environment and a demonstrated strength in budget management and proven leadership ability. The Director must have proven ability in marketing and student recruitment. The Director must have a positive attitude and strong professional relationship with the campus and community.
Master's degree in appropriate field required with at least three years of successful college-level experience in admissions, records, and registration management. The Doctorate is highly desirable, but an identified and approved plan for doctoral work is acceptable. Teaching experience is also desirable. The successful candidate must have knowledge of computer systems and networks. Experience with the BANNER Student Information System and the Crystal Reporting System is a decided asset.
Supervision:
The Director of Admissions, Records, and Research reports directly to the Director of Enrollment Services.
