Position: |
Assistant Professor of Physical Education position to include:
Physical Education Instructor and Women’s and Men’s Soccer Coach; Non-Tenure Track Appointment |
|
Responsibilities: |
Teach in health and basic physical education courses.
Participate in recruitment activities and in the programs offered by the division.
Coach Women’s Soccer and Men’s Soccer. Advise students concerning academic
programs and other academic duties as assigned. Evening class assignments may
be expected. |
|
Qualifications: |
Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours
in physical education or related field is required; Teaching and coaching
experience desired. Candidates with successful junior college teaching may be
given preference. Preference will be given to a candidate that can teach in
other academic areas. |
|
Salary/Starting Date: |
Salary ranges from $35,000 for the academic year dependent
upon qualifications and experience.
Starting date is August 1, 2008. |
