B. Equal Opportunity Grievance
All grievances concerning discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex or national origin, veteran status, or disability shall be directed to the Affirmative Action Officer of the College.
Upon receipt of a grievance, the Affirmative Action Officer will discuss the grievance with the aggrieved party. Following this conference, the Affirmative Action Officer will request a joint meeting with the aggrieved party and the supervisor concerned in an effort to negotiate an agreement between the two parties. Should this negotiation fail, a formal hearing will be convened upon the request of the aggrieved party.
