Associate of Science Degree In Nursing
The Associate of Science in Nursing degree is designed for students who wish to be professional nurses. With the A.S.N., upon passage of the NCLEX a student may seek employment as a registered nurse. The A.S.N. program contains general education as well as both classroom and clinical nursing instruction.
Students who earn this degree are eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses, successful completion of which entitles the nurse to practice nursing and to use the title Registered Nurse (R.N.). Academic advisement for this program is provided by the Division of Nursing.
