This transfer program permits students to complete the first two years of preparation leading to teacher certification in early childhood education, middle grades education, secondary education, special education, speech-language pathology education, or health and physical education. Subsequent admission to a teacher education program at a senior college or university in the University System of Georgia requires a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 and passing the Reading, Writing, and Mathematics portions of the GACE basic skills assessment test. Academic advisement for this program is provided by the Division of Business/Social Sciences.

| *Effective Fall 2007, EDUC 2203, EDUC 2204, and PSYC 2103 will be replaced with EDUC 2110, EDUC 2120, and EDUC 2130. Students are strongly advised to complete these nine hours either under the pre-Fall 2007 requirements or under the post-Fall 2007 requirements. Mixing the two sets of requirements will likely lead to problems if the student later decides to pursue a degree in teaching. |
