ASSOCIATE OF APPLIED SCIENCE IN BUSINESS: ACCOUNTING OPTION
Students who earn the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Business: Accounting Option are prepared to systematize information about transactions and activities into accounts and quantitative records, verify accuracy of data by applying auditing principles, prepare budgets and financial reports, pay or receive money, and operate accounting software packages on micro computers. Potential occupations associated with this degree are junior accountant, bookkeeper, cost accountant assistant, payroll bookkeeper, and tax accountant assistant. Academic advisement for this program is provided by the Division of Business/Social Sciences.
