Take the first step
The mission of the South Georgia College Entry Program is to prepare you
for sophomore level classes at Georgia Southwestern State University or any
other University System institution. Enjoy a small classroom atmosphere,
plenty of one-on-one attention from instructors, and core curriculum classes
which are designed to fit just about any major.
If you are a high school student who did not complete all necessary classes
in the College Preparatory Curriculum (CPC), we offer classes necessary to
complete the CPC requirements.
The South Georgia College Entry Program provides an alternative admissions
program if you are not ready for university entry. The South Georgia College
Entry Program includes a COMPASS entry exam, learning support courses if
necessary and over 30 hours of university accredited core curriculum
classes. After completing this program with a 2.0 grade point average you
can gain admission to Georgia
