The video recordings collection consists of VHS and DVD. While all videos can be viewed inside the study rooms of William S. Smith Library, students may check out certain items intended for recreational use like popular movies. The academic DVDs and VHS cassettes are located in media storage room 113. Just ask a staff member for assistance to access these resources. Faculty are permitted to check out all videos for classroom use. Because faculty use these materials for class, faculty have priority to them.
You can limit a GIL-Find catalog search to only materials in the Audiovisual collection by clicking on "Audio Visual" under the format facet from the GIL-Find search results screen.
The audio recordings collection consists of hundreds of cassettes. While most of these recordings support the college curriculum, others are used for leisure. Cassettes may be checked out to anyone with a valid SGSC ID in good standing. The cassettes are also located in media storage room 113. Please ask a staff member for assistance.
