Starting Fall 2013, Math 1001, 1111, and 1113 must be passed with a C
or better to graduate. This is a change from the past, when only ENGL
1101 and ENGL 1102 had be passed with a C or better to graduate. So now
all Area A courses must be passed with a C or better to graduate.
REPEATING COURSES
Courses completed with grades of D, IP, F, W, or WF may be repeated. A
“C” or better must be earned in Area A and Area F courses to be
considered passing. When a student repeats a course in an attempt to
earn a higher grade, both attempts remain on the student's permanent
record, and both grades are figured into the student's cumulative grade
point average. However, the higher of the two grades will be used, if
appropriate, in calculating the graduation average (see item 3 under
Requirements for Graduation).
