Welcome from the School of Nursing at South Georgia State College.
Our 72-semester credit hour program prepares students to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses. Successful completion entitles one to practice nursing and use the title, Registered Nurse (RN). An LPN-RN bridge program is available to students possessing a current Georgia LPN license and meeting all admission requirements for the Division of Nursing.
We also offer the RN-BSN program for students who are licensed as a
Registered Nurse.
South Georgia State College’s Associate Degree Nursing Program is approved
by the
Georgia Board of Nursing

and the RN-BSN has initial approval. The ASN program is accredited by the
National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) and the RN-BSN
program is in Candidacy. Information regarding the accreditation status of
