End of Term Regents’ Test Administration August 6, 2010

The Regents’ Test will be administered on Friday, August 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in Peabody Auditorium, Kilpatrick Education Center on the Georgia College & State University campus in Milledgeville, Georgia. (The building is on the corner of Wilkinson and Montgomery Streets. It doesn’t have a street address, but if you use 201 W. Montgomery Street in Google, MapQuest, or other mapping program, you will be very close to the building.)

This make-up test is only for students who did not attend the summer testing, or who will be graduating at the end of the summer term and have not yet passed the Regents’ Test. You must receive approval from the Regents’ Test Coordinator at your institution to be eligible for the test. Contact Mr. Duane Benson, South Georgia College Regents’ Test Coordinator, at dbenson@sgc.edu to register. The registration deadline is August 2 for students who did not test in the summer and 12:00 pm on August 5 for graduating students who are retesting.

The cost of this special administration is $50. The fee may be paid by check or money order made payable to GCSU and will be collected at check-in for the test session. You must bring 2 forms of photo ID (for example, driver's license, student ID, employer ID, passport), sharpened #2 pencils, and a black ink pen. You may use a printed or electronic dictionary during the last 15 minutes of the essay test if you bring one to the test administration. It must be clearly labeled as a dictionary or spelling checker. It may contain a thesaurus, but a stand-alone thesaurus is not acceptable.

You should allow approximately 3 hours if you are taking both the reading and essay tests. You should allow approximately 2 hours if you are taking only one test.

Parking is permitted on the street or in available spaces in any of the commuter (not employee) lots around Kilpatrick with the attached parking permit (parking map: http://www.gcsu.edu/studentlife/parkingmaps.htm)
