South Georgia College can help prepare you for a future in Business Administration.  Through a partnership with Georgia Southwestern State University, students can earn their Bachelor of Business Administration in Management without ever having to leave the SGC campus.

A Great Way to Build a Future!  South Georgia College and Georgia Southwestern State University have teamed up to bring a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management degree to the Douglas campus.  This degree will give you the foundation you need for a career in the competitive business world. After completing the full program, students will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Georgia Southwestern State University as well as an Associate of Science degree from SGC. 

The cornerstone of the partnership between South Georgia College and Georgia Southwestern is the combination of online courses and traditional classroom lectures.  The result is a degree program that is convenient for even the busiest student.

During the freshman and sophomore years of the undergraduate degree program, students are enrolled at South Georgia College.  SGC offers all of the humanities, mathematics, and science courses required in the first two years of the Business Administration degree. 

After completing the Associate Degree in Business Administration at SGC, students will complete the remainder of the program on the SGC campus and from their home computer, creating a convenient program that fits any schedule.

How do I get started? 

To be admitted to the SGC program a student must: 

Submit an enrollment application,
$20 application fee and required paperwork to Enrollment Services.
Additional forms needed include high school transcripts (or official GED scores), college or technical school transcripts and immunization form.

Most students will also be required to take a placement exam, known as the COMPASS. Please contact Enrollment Services at 912.260.4306 for a complete list of requirements.

To be admitted to Georgia Southwestern, a student must:

Complete the SGC Associate program and submit an enrollment application to the Office of Undergraduate Admission at Georgia Southwestern for evaluation. Students must attain a minimum overall Grade Point Average of 2.0 in all college courses.
